Organizations Filed Purposes:
1. to promote public safety, law and order, and the national defense by providing education and training to people of good repute in marksmanship and the safe handling and efficient use of small arms; 2. to foster and promote shooting sports, including the advancement of amatuer competitions in marksmanship, at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels; 3. to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance which are essentioals of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
