WITH MULTICULTURAL MENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS, IT DELIVERS ON-CAMPUS AND ON-SITE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR COLLEGES AND NON-PROFITS, AND THROUGH TECH PARTNERSHIPS IT PROVIDES DIRECT SERVICES TO YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR.

TECH INNOVATIONSTHROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH TECH INNOVATIONS, THE STEVE FUND LEVERAGED THE POWER OF, REACH OF, AND COMFORT THAT STUDENTS FEEL WITH TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO HIGH-QUALITY MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES AT SCALE. THE STEVE FUND CONTINUED SPONSORSHIPS OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR SUPPORT GROUP ON 7CUPS.COM REACHING OVER 7,000 MEMBERS WITH DAILY SELF-CARE CHECK-INS, WEEKLY DISCUSSIONS ABOUT TOPICS SUCH AS DISCRIMINATION AND MICROAGGRESSIONS, AND ITS YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR SUPPORT GUIDE. WITH CRISIS TEXT LINE, THE STEVE FUND HAS REACHED OVER 2 MILLION STUDENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR THROUGH DIRECT MARKETING ON SOCIAL MEDIA WITH INFORMATION ABOUT FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, 24/7 CRISIS TEXT COUNSELING AND HELPED CRISIS TEXT LINE TO DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER COUNSELORS OF COLOR SERVING THE ORGANIZATION.

EQUITY IN MENTAL HEALTH FRAMEWORK (EMHF)THE EMHF IS A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND SET OF 10 ACTIONABLE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES TO SUPPORT THE MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SOCIAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF STUDENTS OF COLOR. IN 2020, THE EMHF REACHED OVER 5,000 DOWNLOADS. IN ADDITION, TO SUPPORT INSTITUTIONS IN USING THE EMHF, THE STEVE FUND AND JED FOUNDATION RELEASED AN EMHF IMPLEMENTATION TOOLKIT AND LAUNCHED A TWO-YEAR EMHF IMPLEMENTATION PILOT STUDY WITH 18 PILOT INSTITUTIONS INCLUDING FOUR-YEAR PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES, FOUR-YEAR PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES, AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE INSTITUTIONS. IN 2020 THE STEVE FUND LAUNCHED A COHORT WITH 5 CAMPUSES TO IMPLEMENT THE EMHF.
