Provided health care, immunizations, and physicals for children from birth to 18 years. The clinic serves under and uninsured children in Jefferson County, CO. In fiscal 2019/2020 the Carin' Clinic had 2,372 visits to the clinic by 685 children. The clinic also provides mental health services. The clinic receives all laboratory sevices free of charge from Lutheran Hospital. The value of these services is $70,374 for fiscal year ended May, 31 2020. The last fiscal quarter was a time of flexibility and adaptation with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Clinic completely closed for two weeks in mid-March and then re-opened with revised policies and procedures to minimize exposure to the virus. The Office Manager and Mental Health provider worked remotely. The clinic staff screened patients outside and scheduled patients so there would be no overlap. The clinic followed all recommendations for cleaning and sanitizing. The administration worked hard to apply for PPP and other emergency funding to cover the lost patient revenue. The clinical procedures and identification of funding were successful in maintaining Carin' Clinic patient health and stability of funding.
