For 4 days in August of 2019, AREDAY hosted its sixteenth annual national summit. The key segments of the summit were: a film festival, an environmental expo, and several speaker panels and lectures. The overall theme was about CREATING THE NEW HYDROGEN-CARBON ECONOMY.These were presented by leading environmentalists, business people, scientists and politicians including Gen. Wesley Clark, Elizabeth Halliday, Sally Ranney,Phyllis Bald Eage, and Rev. Jane Quiat. The summit was attended by more than 300 people. There were approximately 140 speakers and panelists. Important ideas were not only exchanged at the summit but also through media outlets.
