Grant making - We provide funding and create connections between nonprofit organizations and the resources they need. We look to these nonprofits to help us respond to community needs and opportunities. Together, we're a community catalyst that inspires ideas and ignites action.
Education and Outreach - Awards are made recognizing exemplary non-profit organizations. The business community and non-profit organizations are brought together to strengthen the non-profit sector and educate donors and potential donors. Additionally, The Community Foundation is committed to promoting a culture of giving in Boulder County through education and information. The Foundation conducts seminars and meetings for contributors to educate them about emerging needs, developing values about giving and helping family members discuss philanthropy. The Community Foundation also provides training for donor advisors discussing relevant philanthropic tax issues and tools for discussing charitable giving with clients.
