Organizations Filed Purposes: Serving as community trustees, we meet our neighbors' basic human needs and provide them with hope and tools to rise out of poverty.

Community food bank, provider of emergency services, and financial counseling and education.

Food Security: In FY 2020, FISH helped prevent hunger by distributing emergency food to more than 12,600 unduplicated residents. FISH distributed more than 1,547,365 pounds of food to those living at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. A majority of those served are children, seniors on a fixed income, and those with a disability.

Emergency financial assistance: As a result of the pandemic, and the skyrocketing cost of housing in Broomfield, in FY 2020 FISH helped more than 800 unduplicated residents with emergency housing and utility assistance to prevent eviction and power shut-offs.

Family Resource Center Assistance: FISH is an active member of the Colorado Family Resource Center Association, and as such, serves as a central hub for resources to support Broomfield residents in becoming self-sufficient. FISH makes referrals to more than 30 partner organizations and provides transportation assistance, help with child care, and small needs support for medical bills, prescriptions, technology, training, etc.
