HFTF's two homes, Hope House & Faith House, each have 8-10 children who are cared for by house parents & supported by professional staff in a safe, loving & peaceful environment where they can heal and develop their emotional, spiritual, physical & educational well-being. The ultimate goal is to place these children into loving forever families within Ethiopia. HFTF has plans to open Love House (for children with disabilities & special needs) & Joy House (a transition home for children under six months). HFTF also provides family-based care to vulnerable children still at home by providing access to high-quality education, medical care, after-school tutoring, counseling, spiritual programs & more so that they can remain with their families & avoid becoming orphans themselves. HFTF's Life Training Center provides tutoring, access to a new computer lab, mentoring, academic enrichment programs, choir & STEM (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics) classes to keep kids engaged.
Hope for the Fatherless HFTF is partnering with communities in Ethiopia and around the world to develop a culture that values and cares for orphaned and vulnerable children through three primary endeavors: HFTF homes provide safe, loving, and peaceful environments where children can flourish. In a forever home, eight to ten children are cared for by house parents and supported by professional staff.HFTF currently has one forever home, Hope House, and we have plans for three more in the future. Through partnership with Bethany Global, we place the children in our transition homes into domestic adoptive families in Ethiopia. Currently, HFTF has one transition home, Faith House. In the future, there are plans for two future homes, Love House (for children with disabilities and special needs) and Joy House (a transition home for children under six months). Through the Life Training Academy, HFTF supports children through sponsorship to enable them to remain in their families. These children are given access to a high-quality education and life skills training through the HFTF Life Training Center.
