Organizations Filed Purposes: KILITECH BELIEVES IN EDUCATION FOR EVERYONE EVERYWHERE. KILITECH FOCUSES ON HELPING SCHOOLS IN NORTHERN TANZANIA, PRIMARILY IN THE ARUSHA AND KILIMANJARO REGIONS, BY FOCUSING ON EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY, WATER AND SANCTION. KILITECH BRINGS WATER TO SCHOOLS AND INSTALLS WATER STORAGE TANKS, REPLACING PIT LATRINES WITH WATER SOURCED TOILETS AND SEPTIC TANKS, INSTALLING WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, HAND WASHING STATIONS, AND IMPROVING CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENTS. WE ACHIEVE THIS BY WORKING WITH DISTRICT COUNCILS AND THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO ACHIEVE THE GREATEST BENEFITS FOR THE SCHOOLS IN THE REGIONS. THE SCHOOLS ARE IDENTIFIED BY THE DISTRICT COUNCIL AND PROJECT REQUESTS ARE MADE BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TO KILITECH. PROJECTS ARE SUBMITTED TO LOCAL CONTRACTORS FOR BIDS AND THE SELECTED BILL OF QUANTITY (BOQ) IS PROVIDED TO THE LOCAL TANZANIAN OFFICE OF NGOS FOR THEIR APPROVALS. LOCAL TAXES ARE PAID AND AUDITED ANNUALLY MEETING TANZANIA REVENUE AUTHORITY REQ

KILITECH USA HELPS FUNDS KILITECH TANZANIA. KILITECH TANZANIA BRINGS TECHNOLOGY, EDUCATION, AND HEALTHCARE TO RURAL TANZANIANS. WE FOCUS ON GENDER EQUALITY AND OFFER VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND STARTUP SUPPLIES TO ADULTS. THROUGH EDUCATION WE CREATE JOBS IN DECORATING, SEWING, COOKING, BEEKEEPING, HONEY DISTRIBUTION, AND WORKSHOPS. WE BUILD LEARNING CENTERS FOR ADULTS AND IMPROVE GOVERNMENT-RUN SCHOOLS FOR CHILDREN SO THAT WHOLE FAMILIES HAVE A SAFE AND MORE STABLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. WE ACHIEVE THIS BY WORKING COLLABORATIVELY WITH COMMUNITIES TO DEFINE AND ESTABLISH VOCATIONS THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO THEIR ENVIRONMENT, AND WE ARE DELIGHTED TO DECLARE THAT THIS METHOD IS PROVING TO ELIMINATE POVERTY IN RURAL IMPOVERISHED AREAS

GENERAL SUPPORT TO KILITECH TANZANIA FOR ONGOING AND FUTURE PROJECTS. KILITECH TANZANIA 2020 PROJECTS INCLUDE:COVID-19 SUPPLIES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO THE ARUSHA DISTRICT COUNCIL: 1,000 HOSPITAL MASKS, 1,000 TRIPLE LAYER MASKS, AND 1,000 HAND WASHING BUCKETS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO LOCAL HOSPITALS, ORPHANAGES, CHURCHES, AND MOSQUES. SUPPLIES WERE CONTRIBUTED WITH THE BELIEF THAT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 COULD BE TAMED FURTHER BY SUPPLYING ADDITIONAL BUCKETS AND MASKS TO THE AREAS IDENTIFIED BY THE COUNCIL. SCHOOLS FOCUSED ON DURING THE YEAR INCLUDE MRINGA PRIMARY SCHOOL AND OLEMEDEYE PRIMARY SCHOOL. KILITECH FUNDED THE MRINGA SCHOOL PROJECT BY BUILDING A NEW TOILET HOUSE WITH RUNNING WATER WHICH INCLUDED 7 TOILET STALLS AND A CHANGING ROOM FOR GIRLS STUDENTS, 5 TOILET STALLS WITH A URINAL AREA FOR BOYS STUDENTS, 4 HANDWASHING TROUGHS WITH 2 TAPS ON EACH, A WATER TANK TOWER WITH 3000LTRS WATER STORAGE TANK, FINISHED A NINETEEN PARTIALLY CONSTRUCTED TOILET HOUSE BY THE COMMUNITY COMPLETING 10 TOILET STALLS AND A CHANGING ROOM FOR GIRLS STUDENTS, 10 TOILET STALLS WITH A URINAL AREA FOR BOYS STUDENTS, A HANDWASHING TROUGH WITH 5 TAPS FOR EACH AND ALL PLUMBING WORKS. ALSO DONATED 32 BUCKETS TO BE USED FOR FLASHING IN THE TOILETS. FOR OLEMEDEYE PRIMARY SCHOOL, PROJECTS WERE FUNDED BY BUILDING A NEW TOILET HOUSE WITH RUNNING WATER LINES TO THE TOILETS. IT HAS7 TOILET STALLS AND A CHANGING ROOM FOR GIRLS STUDENTS, 5 TOILET STALLS WITH A URINAL AREA FOR BOYS STUDENTS, 2 HANDWASHING TROUGHS WITH 4 TAPS ON EACH, AND A WATER TANK TOWER WITH 5000LTRS WATER STORAGE TANK AND A STOREROOM. ALSO, A DONATION OF STATIONERY ITEMS WAS MADE OF 432 PENCILS, PENS: 30 FOR TEACHERS AND 379 FOR THE STUDENTS, 401 EXERCISE BOOKS TO THE STUDENTS. ADDITIONAL PROJECTS INCLUDED COMPLETING A 75,000LTRS WATER TANK AT KISIMA CHA MUNGU VILLAGE. THE TANK FEEDS THE COMMUNITY BOMAS, WATER FOR LIVESTOCK AND MOST ESPECIALLY DISTRIBUTION TO THE SCHOOL. ADDITIONALLY, A 1.6KLM LINE WAS CONNECTED FROM THE TANK TO OLEMEDEYE PRIMARY SCHOOL. KILITECH ALSO PURSUED A VIDEOGRAPHY PROJECT, THE PROJECT INCLUDED FILMING AND PREPARING DOCUMENTARY FILMS FOR KILITECH 2020 PROJECTS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE KILITECH DONOR BASE FOR FUNDRAISING AND STAKEHOLDERS FOR DOCUMENTATION. VISITS WERE MADE TO MIDAWE PRIMARY SCHOOL, MUUNGANO PRIMARY SCHOOL, MRINGA PRIMARY SCHOOL, OLEMEDEYE PRIMARY SCHOOL AND KISIMA CHA MUNGU VILLAGE. IN ADDITION TO FUNDRAISING, THE PURPOSE OF THE DOCUMENTARY IS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND IMPACT 20,000 CHILDREN BY 2020.
