The Center for Nonprofit Excellence strengthens Southern Colorado's nonprofit sector through leadership and resource development, advocacy and collaboration. Together, with our partners, we are co-creating a vibrant community in the Pikes Peak region through nonprofit innovation and excellence.
The Center for Nonprofit Excellence is the Pikes Peak region's locally trusted resource for nonprofits and the people working to achieve their missions. CNE provides connections, education, and resources to nonprofit professionals, board members, volunteers and businesses looking to engage in social change work. Every day we provide valuable tools through educational workshops, consulting, collaborative events, monthly roundtables and an annual conference that educates and informs nonprofit professionals, their supporters and the community. This last year, over 2,900 individuals attended CNE workshops, trainings, roundtables and Nonprofit Day Conference.
CNE's annual Nonprofit Day Conference is the only event of its kind in Southern Colorado, bringing together hundreds of people from diverse sectors for a day of learning, connecting, and idea-sharing. The conference is designed to convene nonprofit professionals, board members, businesses, elected officials and other thought leaders to increase their personal and organization capacity. CNE presents keynote speakers, networking opportunities and over 20 breakout sessions, focusing on boards, fundraising, relationship building, finances, community organizing, talent development, and more.
