Mobilization of prayer in the U.S.
The National Day of Prayer Task Force serves to mobilize unified public prayer for America through the development and promotion of the National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday of May, including broadcasting the Annual National Day of Prayer Observance in Washington D.C. Shifting to a virtual National Observance this year, the National Day of Prayer broadcast garnered 595,000 views online and had a television reach of nearly 1.2 billion households across the US, Latin America and Europe through partnerships with BGEA, GodTV, Daystar, Enlace, Revelation TV UK, CBN, TLN and others. Radio partnerships with SiriusXM, Bott, Salem and Moody radio networks, and others had a reach of just under 100 million households across the US. This year's virtual event reached into more homes than ever before. Prayer guides and materials are distributed to churches, organizations, and individuals encouraging prayer. Other National Day of Prayer virtual events were held by our grassroots movement of approximately 18,000 volunteer coordinators who give leadership to our national volunteer network. Other accomplishments and partnership initiatives include the Leadership Summit, Stories of Hope, Every Campus, Year of the Bible, GO2020, Claim Your Campus, Love2020 and United in Love.
