Organizations Filed Purposes: Imagination Celebration (IC) produces brain-stimulating, community-building, life-enhancing experiences that demonstrate the power of the arts, the impact of the creative process, and the importance of creative thinking skills needed for the 21st Century. IC establishes partnerships among nonprofits, businesses, civic organizations and education institutions to engage in and support creative education, innovative community development and an imaginative, connected community participating in the cultural life of the region.

Portals Project The Portals project connected people around the globe in real-time, life-sized audio-visual engagements. With valuable support from the NEA, Imagination Celebration produced 261 Portal engagements and one major creativity festival (above). We directly engaged, 24 professional artists, 14 emerging artists, 12 college student artists, 236 students (K-12), and 2894 residents from the Pikes Peak region of Colorado. We put Portal public art installations in 8 diverse neighborhoods. For the months of April thru June 2020, we canceled all of our programs during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Creativity Center iSpace (Imagination Space) - Imagination transitioned the Creativity Center programs into 4 storefronts providing workshops, rehearsal space, creative engagement and exhibitions. Imagination Celebration launched a new program called CACTUS (Creating Art Can Tell Untold Stories)-an arts engagement program serving military service members, Veterans, and family members in a range of experiences in the Visual Arts, Literary Arts, and Performing Arts. Over 35 nonprofits provided programs, services, or events $106,100 in donated rent, utilities, security and trash removal was provided by the Citadel Mall. Imagination transitioned the Creativity Center programs into 4 storefronts providing workshops and exhibitions. Dragon Theater Productions and Kaleidoscope Dance engaged 127 K thru adult in performing arts programs. For the months of April thru June 2020, we canceled all of our programs during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Community Development and Collaboration The 2019 What IF.Festival of Innovation and Imagination, an annual festival served over 40,000 people of all ages in creative hands-on experiences to cross-pollinate fields of knowledge and showcase the region's creativity in multiple endeavors: science, technology, all art forms, business, education, marketing, urban design, sustainability, local foods, permaculture, nonprofits, engineering, etc. IC collaborated with 20 private, public and nonprofit agencies, and presented over 160 experiences on 6 stages and among 6 city blocks. Advertising in-kind Donations(Comcast, CS Independent, Gazette, KRCC, KCME, KVOR)- $29,500
