Organizations Filed Purposes:
World Orphans' vision is to empower the church to care for orphans - until they all have homes! We equip, inspire, and mobilize the church to care for orphans and vulnerable children. Churches engaged. Children restored. Communities transformed by the Gospel of Christ.
Rescuing abandoned children, strengthening churches and impacting communities with the Gospel.
We are committed to seeing orphans and vulnerable children cared for wholistically (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) in families through our Home Based Care initiative. Ministry teams from local churches mentor and disciple vulnerable families and those that have taken in orphans, providing love, care, and the hope of the Gospel. U.S. churches come alongside an international church to form church-to-church partnerships built on relationship, as together we work to care for orphans and vulnerable families. Ministry to refugees continued in Northern Iraq with micro-refugee camps, a school to educate refugee children, and the operation of a medical clinic.During the period 1/1/2020 - 12/31/2020, World Orphans helped to fund 52 projects in 9 countries for the support of orphans and vulnerable families. It is estimated that 10,870 orphans, widows, vulnerable families, and refugees were impacted through World Orphans' programs.
