BIZ BASH INC HOSTS FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE SUPPORT FOR WORTHY 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS IN ARIZONA AND COLORADO, PRIMARILY OFFERING SERVICES AND ASSISTANCE TO AT-RISK YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES. SINCE 2001, BIZ BASH HAS CONTRIBUTED OVER $6 MILLION TO QUALIFYING CHARITIES.
Biz Bash conducts fundraising events to benefit predetermined § 501(c)(3) charities operating in Colorado and Arizona communities. General practice is to make annual grants to each beneficiary for a maximum of two years, after which a new qualifying beneficiary is selected by a committee of the board of directors. On October 3, 2019, a special concert event featuring the musical talents of The Orchestra was hosted in Phoenix, Arizona to raise financial support for the benefit of two Arizona-based § 501(c)(3) organizations: Be a Leader Foundation (BLF, EIN: 55-0850279) and Feeding Matters (FM, EIN 20-8095826). BLF's mission is to increase the number of college-going students in Arizona by providing them with the tools and resources needed to become college bound, focused and prepared through leadership training and mentoring. The 2019 Biz Bash Arizona concert raised fund sufficient to allow BzBash in it's first year of support to make an unrestricted grant of $81,500. Be a Leader Foundation is located at 1715 W. Feeding Matters unites families, healthcare professionals and the broader community to improve the system of care for children with pediatric feeding disorder through advocacy, education, support, and research. The 2019 Biz Bash Arizona concert raised funds sufficient to allow Biz Bash in its second year of support to make an unrestricted grant of $81,500 to the organization. Feeding Matters is located at 7650 E. Redfield Rd., Ste. C4, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. In Colorado, because of the timing of the merger integration, the Biz Bash Colorado event was postponed to 2020. However, Biz Bash continued to contribute $30,000 to the two selected Colorado beneficiaries. Kids First Health Care helps improve the lives of community youth by operating 8 school-based health centers serving approximately 4,000 youth under the age of 21. The health centers offer a full range of services including annual physicals, immunizations, sick and injury care, preventative dental care, mental health counseling and health education. The 2019 Biz Bash Colorado made an unrestricted grant of $ $15,000 to KFHC. KFHC (EIN 84-0799374) is located at 4675 E.69th Ave., Commerce City, CO 80022. A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. They accomplish this by providing clothing, household items, sports equipment, art supplies and scholarships for educational needs. The 2019 Biz Bash Colorado made an unrestricted grant of $15,000 to A Precious Child. A Precious Child (EIN 26-3349334) is located at 7051 W 118th Ave, Broomfield CO 80020.
