Building on a foundation of evidence, the Center advocates for and provides professional education, leadership development, coaching and data analysis to continually strengthen the nursing and healthcare workforce. Our defining strategy is to convene and engage the right people at the right time to develop and implement solutions to emerging healthcare challenges.
HRSA Primary Care Training & Enhancement (Grant T0BHP29991):The overall focus of this grant is on the development of interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) competencies and skills in the FQHC Providers and DO/MD/PA students as measured by a structured set evaluation measures such selected UDS measures, improvements in IPCP team performance and the acquisition defined of team operation competencies.
HRSA Nursing Workforce Diversity (Grant D19HP30841):The purpose of this grant is to support Colorado's effort to recruit, retain, and graduate diverse economically disadvantaged students.
HRSA Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (Grant T94HP31872):The purpose of this grant is to support innovative academic-practice partnerships to prepare advanced practice registered nursing students to practice in rural and underserved settings through academic and clinical training.
