THE CONSORTIUM PROVIDES SOFTWARE, TEMPLATES, TRAINING, AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR HEALTH SERVICES DOCUMENTATION, DATA ENTRY SERVICES, CLAIMS PROCESSING/SUBMISSION, QUALITY ASSURANCE, AND REPORTING SERVICES. TRAINING IS PROVIDED TO SCHOOL DISTRICT HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF RELATED TO THE CONSORTIUM SOFTWARE, SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS, AND ADDRESSING UNMET HEALTH NEEDS OF STUDENTS. PROGRAM INFORMATION ON BEST PRACTICES, WEEKLY NEWSLETTER COMMUNICATIONS, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING ON EXPANDING SERVICES TO IMPROVE STUDENT HEALTH, INCLUDING IMPLEMENTING INSURANCE OUTREACH AND ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS, AND PROGRAM CONSULTING TO MAXIMIZE RESOURCES FOR ADDITIONAL HEALTH SERVICES TO OVER 699,840 COLORADO STUDENTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE CONSORTIUM'S SERVICES.MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS DURING THE 2019/2020 YEAR INCLUDE: DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW SOFTWARE PLATFORM TO STREAMLINE DOCUMENTATION OF PERSONAL CARE AND DELEGATED NURSING SERVICES THAT INCLUDED TRAINING OF OVER 1,992 PROVIDERS; ADVOCACY AND DEVELOPMENT OF TOOLS, TRAINING AND BEST PRACTICES FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE MEDICAID SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM THAT WILL INCREASE RESOURCES THROUGHOUT THE STATE BY $8-$12 MILLION DOLLARS; TARGETED SUPPORT TO ADDRESS THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF RURAL AND URBAN SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN IMPLEMENTING THE MEDICAID SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM; AND DISTRICT SUPPORT IN IMPLEMENTING TELEHEALTH DOCUMENTATION AND UPDATED SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM COMPLIANCE PROTOCOLS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2020 THE CONSORTIUM FUNDED 1 DISTRICT COORDINATOR HEALTH CHAMPION PROJECT; PROCESSED OVER 3.216 MILLION HEALTH SERVICES; PROVIDED 87 WEBINAR TRAINING EVENTS AND 204 ONSITE TRAINING EVENTS TO OVER 3,483 HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDERS AND SCHOOL MEDICAID COORDINATORS; AND RESPONDED TO 5,572 TELEPHONE/EMAIL SUPPORT REQUESTS BY SCHOOL HEALTH PROVIDERS, SCHOOL MEDICAID COORDINATORS, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH PROVIDERS.
