Organizations Filed Purposes:
Due to COVID our CWHF Class of 2020 Induction Ceremony scheduled in March was cancelled and will be re-scheduled in March 2022The CWHF Board of Directors faced some internal challenges resulting the departure of the Board Chair and several Directors. The last 6 months of 2020 was primarily focused on the following key initiatives :1.Increasing Awareness of CWHF: Our events attracted the largest number of Inductee participation of any events we have hosted.We have increased our following of our Newsletter and Social Media platforms (LinkedIn; Instagram; Facebook).Virtual STEM event and house party approach was very successful.Several new Google Arts & Culture exhibits were developed and continue to expand the awareness of CWHF.Great Colorado Women Film Series May 2020 partnership with History Colorado for Premier of Season three with the release of 6 new Indcutee films.Expanded Girl Scout Partnership with Colorado Girl Scouts. CWHF Portrait exhibits were on display at several library districts at the end of 2020 when COVID restrictions relaxed.2.Grants, Fundraising and Annual Giving:First time ever for CWHF to apply for grants.SCFD was denied and our appeal letter was also denied.Kettering grant and John C. Duncan grant we also denied.Focus for 2021 is to review our Grant Writing approach to determine how to improve our ability to secure Grant Funding.End of Year appeal to CWHF Inductees resulted in the largest number of participants and donations received from our Inductees in recent years.100% Board Contribution Colorado Gives Day.Review of budget and on-going expenses to reduce unnecessary expenses.3.High Touch engagement with CWHF Inductees:CWHF hosted 4 Virtual Inductee Teas.Participation at several events and Annual Strategic Planning.Commitment from 15 inductees to participate in numerous 2021 virtual events - First time for so many to different women to support CWHF and our followers.
