TO STRENGTHEN FAMILIES THROUGH PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION.

MODEL REFINEMENT, RESEARCH, AND EVALUATION: THE FRCA SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY CONDUCTING ACTIVITIES AND DELIVERABLES CONGRUENT WITH THE NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION RESEARCH NETWORK'S (NIRN) IMPLEMENTATION SCIENCE FRAMEWORK. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO COMPLETE THE VALIDATION AND DOCUMENTATION PHASE OF OUR COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY SUPPORT MODEL. RECENT ADVANCEMENTS INCLUDE:PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CENTER ON THE DEVELOPING CHILD AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY, INTEGRATING FRONTIERS OF INNOVATION RAPID-CYCLE LEARNING TO SCALE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (FDS) IN A SCHOOL-BASED PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM; IN-PROGRESS IMPACT OF FDS ON FAMILY HEALTH STUDY (RANDOMIZED CONTROL TRIAL); IN-PROGRESS VALIDATION STUDY OF THE COLORADO FAMILY SUPPORT ASSESSMENT 2.0; AND, INTENTIONALLY TRANSITIONING TO MORE EQUITABLE EVALUATION METHODS. EVALUATION IS AT THE CORE OF FRCA'S WORK WITH OUR MEMBER CENTERS AND THEIR CONSTITUENT FAMILIES, AND IS USED TO IMPROVE OUR COMPREHENSIVE MODEL. WE ARE COMMITTED TO USING THE INFORMATION WE GATHER TO INCREASE THE EFFICACY AND IMPACT OF OUR CENTERS AND THE FAMILIES THEY SERVE. OUR 2019-2020 EVALUATION REPORT CONFIRMS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE STRATEGIES, TOOLS AND PROCESSES COMPLETED TO DATE. THIS REPORT, WHICH INCLUDES MULTIPLE DOMAIN ANALYSIS, SHOWS "STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT" GAINS IN INCOME, CASH SAVINGS, DEBT MANAGEMENT, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, FOOD SECURITY, CHILD CARE, CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH AND TRANSPORTATION DOMAINS. FAMILY RESOURCE CENTERS SERVE THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES IN COLORADO WITH MANY STRENGTHS, DIVERSE NEEDS, AND A READINESS TO CHANGE. BOTH BEFORE AND DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THESE FAMILIES DEMONSTRATED SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS IN ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY, HEALTH, CONCRETE SUPPORTS IN TIMES OF NEED, SOCIAL SUPPORT, AND FAMILY FUNCTIONING AND RESILIENCY. THESE EVALUATION RESULTS CONFIRM FRCA'S EFFORTS AROUND INCREASING THE VALIDITY EVIDENCE-BASE OF OUR MODEL.WE UTILIZE AN ORGANIZATIONAL SURVEY FOR ALL MEMBERS TO IDENTIFY KEY AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT. AT THE CENTER LEVEL, EVALUATION OF OUTCOMES AND PROGRESS IS MEASURED BY PARTICIPANT ACTIVITY AND FEEDBACK OBTAINED BY PARTICIPANT SURVEYS AND INTERVIEWS.
