Organizations Filed Purposes: ILEARN COLLABORATIVE CREATES EQUITY IN EDUCATION BY BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF EDUCATORS TO IMPLEMENT STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING. WE PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, CONSULTING SERVICES, AND A VARIETY OF DIGITAL RESOURCES.

CONSULTING PROGRAM - ILEARN COLLABORATIVE CONTINUES TO GROW IN THE NUMBER OF NEW SCHOOLS AND DISTRICTS WE SERVE. IN 2019-20, ILC ENGAGED WITH 15 ADDITIONAL NEW SCHOOLS AND DISTRICTS TO ADD TO OUR DISTRICTS WE HAVE WORKED WITH OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS FOR A TOTAL OF 60 NEW AND RETURNING DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS. DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS CONTRACTED OUR SERVICES WITH OUR READINESS ASSESSMENT PACKAGES AND THOUGHT PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT. OUR CONSULTING WORK INVOLVES REVIEWING DISTRICTS' EXISTING STRATEGIC PLANS, CURRENT USE OF TECHNOLOGY, BOARD MANDATES, AND DISTRICT CULTURE. WE ASSIST WITH PLANNING AND ARTICULATING A VISION FOR HOW TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING WILL SUPPORT THEIR STRATEGIC GOALS, IDENTIFY EXISTING RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS IN PLACE TO SUPPORT THE VISION, IDENTIFY RESOURCE GAPS, AND ARTICULATE AN IMPLEMENTATION ROAD MAP FOR CLOSING THE GAPS TO ACHIEVE DESIRED OUTCOMES. OTHER DISTRICTS, WHO WERE FAR ENOUGH ALONG IN THEIR PLANNING OR IMPLEMENTATION, OPTED TO ENGAGE IN OUR "THOUGHT LEADER PARTNERSHIP" CONSULTING SERVICES THAT INCLUDE OFFERING OUR SUPPORT AND RESOURCES TOWARDS THE IMPLEMENTATION AND/OR SUSTAINABILITY PLANNING OF STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING INITIATIVES.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - ILEARN COLLABORATIVE COMPLETED 1,191 ENROLLMENTS IN 2019-20, UP SLIGHTLY FROM 2018-2019. THIS YEAR WE HAVE OVERALL, ILC CONTINUES TO IMPACT MORE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS THAN IN PREVIOUS YEARS. THIS YEAR ILEARN COLLABORATIVE HAS CERTIFIED 108 COLORADO TEACHERS IN BLENDED LEARNING WITH INCREASED PARTICIPATION IN OUR "TRAIN-THE-TRAINER" PROGRAM. OUR TRAIN-THE-TRAINER PROGRAM PROMOTES BUILDING CAPACITY WITHIN LOCAL EDUCATION AGENCIES BY INCREASING THEIR ABILITY TO TRAIN MORE TEACHERS WITH THEIR OWN FACILITATORS AND TRAINING SCHEDULES CUSTOMIZED TO THEIR NEEDS. A MAJOR SOURCE OF GROWTH CONTINUES TO BE "WORD-OF-MOUTH" COMMUNICATIONS FROM TEACHERS AND EDUCATION LEADERS SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCES OF LEARN COLLABORATIVE'S TRAINING PROGRAM WITH OTHER EDUCATORS ACROSS COLORADO. OUR WORK WITH COLORADO BOCES ORGANIZATIONS, DISTRICTS AND CONFERENCES OFFERED OPPORTUNITIES TO PRESENT WORKSHOPS WHICH ALSO LED TO MORE PARTICIPATION IN ILCS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES. ONE OF ILEARN COLLABORATIVE'S GOAL IS TO HELP EDUCATION AGENCIES BUILD CAPACITY IN THIS SECTOR OF EDUCATION TO ENSURE SUSTAINABILITY. OUR "TRAIN THE TRAINER" PROGRAM OFFERS DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS TO HAVE ILC DIRECTLY TRAIN COHORTS OF TEACHERS TO START AND EVENTUALLY BECOME THE "OFFICIAL" TRAINERS WITHIN THEIR OWN DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS. OUR DIRECT TRAINING APPROACH ENSURES A QUALITY ROLLOUT OF BEST INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE AT A DISTRICT AND/OR SCHOOLWIDE LEVEL. FEEDBACK FROM COURSE PARTICIPANTS VIA OUR COURSE SATISFACTION SURVEYS CONTINUES TO TREND AT 90%-95% OF COURSE PARTICIPANTS WERE VERY SATISFIED OR EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH OUR COURSES ON EVERY DIMENSION COVERED. THIS IS A FURTHER TESTAMENT TO THE UNIQUELY EFFECTIVE AND SCALABLE APPROACH TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THAT ILEARN COLLABORATIVE OFFERS. WE HAVE EVERY REASON TO EXPECT THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO CONTINUE TO GROW AND HAVE INVESTED RESOURCES IN BUILDING NEW COURSES TO MEET FUTURE DEMAND.

DIGITAL CONTENT WAREHOUSE/OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES - ILEARN COLLABORATIVE COMPLETED ITS WORK IN CURATING ALL CONTENT DONATED BY JEFFCO PUBLIC SCHOOLS, CREATING A SET OF FULL-LENGTH DIGITAL CONTENT TEMPLATES ALIGNED TO COLORADO STANDARDS. SINCE THE FALL 2019 LAUNCH OF GRADES 3-12 85+ COURSE TEMPLATES, 45+ DISTRICTS AND CHARTER SCHOOLS HAVE ACTIVELY ACCESSED THE CONTENT. WE ARE EXPERIENCING CONTINUED EXPONENTIAL GROWTH OF OUR DIGITAL CONTENT WAREHOUSE (DCW) OER FROM COLORADO DISTRICTS AND TEACHERS. WE PROJECT CONTINUED DEMAND FROM NEW DISTRICTS AND SCHOOLS BY THE END OF 2020. FEEDBACK HAS BEEN OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE AND OVERALL, TEACHERS ARE GRATEFUL FOR THE ACCESS TO FULL DIGITAL COURSES TO USE FOR BLENDED/HYBRID INSTRUCTION. NATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS GUIDELINES RECOMMEND ANNUAL COURSE CURATION AND NEW COURSE CREATION TO CONTINUE TO OFFER LEA'S CURRENT RELEVANT AND NEW CONTENT ALIGNED TO NEW STATE AND NATIONAL STANDARDS. WE CONTINUE TO SEEK ADEQUATE FUNDING TO SUPPORT MANAGEMENT, CURATION, AND CREATION NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO OFFER A ROBUST UNIQUE OER REPOSITORY FOR COLORADO K12 EDUCATION.
