Resilient Communities Resilient Futures promotes trauma-informed communities through the delivery of the Healthy Environments and Response to Trauma in Schools program, a culturally responsive, equity-focused trauma informed approach that addresses the whole child in the areas of academic, social, emotional and physical health. RCRF provides consultation, training and wellness services to all members of the communities we serve.
Resilient Communities Resilient Futures conducted 184 trainings on trauma informed practices to 2937 early childhood educators, 427 elementary school educators, 277 middle schoole educators, 54 secondary school educators and 497 pre-service educators. Additionally, RCRF provided trainings to 1337 school leaders. These trainings reached 2,788 children in early childhood, 3208 elementary aged youth, 2554 middle school students,and an additional 400 students attending Adaptive programs, for a total of 8,950 children and youth. 100% of these 5708 participants in trainings reported that the training is good for teachers and schools.Further, RCRF provided 150 sessions to promote race-based equity and racial healing in communities impacted by trauma, totalling 268.5 hours of equity work in school communities.
