Organizations Filed Purposes:
Finally Home equips and serves individuals, churches and organizations in order to strengthen foster, adoptive, and kinship families with training, resources and support. The program builds community and draws people to the local church, creating opportunities to make substantial impacts in the lives of countless families.
1) Finally Home shifted services to provide virtual training and support to families, supported families with meal deliveries during quarantine and provided families with practical tools such as Emotions Toolkit for emotional regulation.2) Finally Home served 15 grandparent families raising grandchildren in 2020. They were served through virtual training, meal deliveries, Survival Kit deliveries and tangible resources.3) Reached families outside of Colorado by training Social Workers in Texas and Military Chaplains in Ohio on the concepts of Family Wellness, the Family Strengthening series, and how to deliver these in a virtual environment.4) In 2020, Finally Home served 73 foster, adoptive, and kinship families. This represents 146 adults and 219 children and teens.5) Worked with a total of 63 volunteers representing 379 volunteer hours in 2020.
