Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of Partners Mentoring Youth is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth facing challenges in their personal, social and academic lives.
The key component of the Partners program is prevention. It is Partners' belief that a young person can be prevented from entering a life of negative and unhealthy choices if consistent, positive influences can be provided early in their lives. Through mentoring, life skills, on-going recreational and educational activities, and services opportunities, Partners helps give these youth a better chance to succeed in life. In 2019, Partners served a record number of youth through their programs. Partners provides these mentoring services though two programs: a community based program and a school based program.
