LCSAR PROVIDED PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED PERSONNEL AND STATE-OF-THE-ART SAR EQUIPMENT TO THE SHERIFF OF LARIMER COUNTY, THE STATE OF COLORADO, AND SURROUNDING STATES IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION. LCSAR PROVIDED PUBLIC EDUCATION ON SUCH TOPICS AS MOUNTAIN SAFETY, HUG-A-TREE FOR CHILDREN, AVALANCHE AWARENESS AND TAKING CHILDREN INTO THE WILDERNESS. ALL OF THE ABOVE WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WITHOUT A CHARGE TO ANYONE.
