The equine assisted therapy program will give high risk students the incentive to succeed in school, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and develop positive relationships with others.
The younger students love the horses, look forward to their lesson, and do better in school. Individuals who have been in the program are successful in high school, have a higher GPA and are looking at colleges with riding programs. The older studens had a fabulous year. One student qualified for Zones, and one student qualified for Nationals.
