THE MOUNTAIN FAMILY CENTER ADDRESSES THE NEEDS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY WITH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES: - HUNGER RELIEF: OPERATES TWO FOOD PANTRIES LOCATED IN GRANBY AND KREMMLING, AND A TOTES PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN. - RENT, MORTGAGE AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE IS OFFERED TO QUALIFYING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. - HEALTH ADVOCACY STRIVES TO INCREASE ACCESS TO DENTAL, VISION, HEARING AND EXTRAORDINARY HEALTH OR WELLNESS COSTS FOR UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED GRAND COUNTY RESIDENTS. - HEALTH AND NUTRITIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDE "COOKING MATTERS", "EAT, PLAY, GROW", EXPLORING FOODS TOGETHER, COORDINATED APPROACH TO CHILD HEALTH (CATCH), COLORADO BRIGHT BEGINNINGS/BRIGHT BY THREE, AND COMMUNITY GARDENS. - COAT CLOSET/THRIFT STORE: CLOTHING ITEMS ARE DONATED BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO PROVIDE FREE OR DISCOUNTED APPAREL TO ANYONE IN NEED. CLOTHING IS AVAILABLE FOR NEWBORNS, CHILDREN, TEENS AND ADULTS. - HOLIDAY PROGRAMS SUPPORT FAMILY TRADITIONS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASONS WITH FOOD BASKETS AND GIFTS.
