THE VISION OF THE CRSA IS TO CREATE A STRUCTURE THROUGH WHICH RURAL SCHOOLS AND THEIR COMMUNITIES CAN WORK TOGETHER, GENERATE RESOURCES AND LEVERAGE SHARED OPPORTUNITIES TO ADDRESS REGIONAL ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CONCERNS.
THE CRSA IS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE BY WORKING TO INCREASE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR RURAL STUDENTS AND COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF COLORADO.
IN SERVICE OF ITS PURPOSE AND VISION, THE CRSA STRIVES TO:A. ADVOCATE ON RURAL ISSUES, BUILD A RURAL ADVOCACY NETWORK TO INCREASE LEVERAGE AND IMPACT OF MESSAGING, INCREASE AWARENESS OF UNIQUE CHALLENGES AND NEEDS IN RURAL SCHOOLS. B. REGIONAL AND STATE LEVEL CONVENINGS AND MEETINGS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE PARTNERSHIPS AND BRING RURAL LEADERS AND POLICY MAKERS TOGETHER, SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND CELEBRATE INNOVATION. C. BUILT COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUTURE TO SUPPORT MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, BIWEEKLY VIDEO CALLS AND MONTHLY PODCAST.
