To empower and equip the indigenous tribes of the Amazon region to assume responsibility for their long term spiritual, physical, and survival needs.
Amazon Focus partners with ALTECO, Inc. and a movement in South America called, "The Three Waves Movement" - a networking of Amazonian tribal, national and ex-patriot leaders whose entities holistically empower the indigenous people of the Amazon region. In 2020, discussions were held to encourage even greater levels of partnering among consortium entities.Because 2020 was the year of the Covid-19 pandemic, government restrictions made travel between SA countries and tribal groups difficult, and many times impossible. However, meeting virtually became the new norm; and much progress was seen in the area of partnering and networking, using this new paradigm of communication. In the "Communications Ministry" of AF, progress was realized in 2020, as one book of stories of the Amazon is ready to go to publishers, a second book is close to being completed, and yet a third in its conception stage.
