Logos Wilderness Therapy is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The purpose of Logos Wilderness Therapy is to see the fullness of freedom reimagined, restored, and reclaimed for survivors of human trafficking. Through collaboration, research, and passionate social justice professionals, Logos Wilderness Therapy will provide survivors with the highest level of mental health care possible and be a voice of advocacy through education and training. It is our vision to journey with survivors into holistic healing and live it out in freedom.
In 2020, Logos provided wilderness therapy trips to twenty one women who identify as survivors of sex trafficking. In total, a hundred and forty four hours of trauma specific clinical therapy were provided. Along with mental health services, Logos also provided access to wilderness spaces to women who may not otherwise have access to these spaces.
