Organizations Filed Purposes:
New York State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (NYS TESOL) is an association of teaching professionals concerned with the education of English language learners at all levels of public and private education in New York State. Our interests include classroom practices, research, program and curriculum development, employment, etc. _
Annual and winter conferences include demonstrations, plenary speakers, etc. for the advancement of teaching English as a second language for both members and nonmembers of NYS TESOL and in the related teaching field.
Publications of "IDIOM" and "Dialogue" plus other printed materials for both members and others in the field of teaching English as a second language.
Provide gifts and service awards at annual conference.
