Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation NAHF is to maintain and nurture the cultural arts for the benefit of our community. Its plan is to accomplish this through the development and support of successful collaborations between the arts, businesses, service groups, schools and artists for optimum utilization of resources.
The Northglenn Arts Humanities Foundation NAHF provides funding for quality youth theatre, public art, and other cultural endeavors in Northglenn, Colorado and the North Denver Metro area.
4a. Northglenn Youth Theatre performed its 25th season, the adult acting group Northglenn Players its 8th season, Missoula Childrens Theatre returned for its 31st year and hald numerous special engagements including the expansion of Northglenn Arts Presents. Approxumately 13,372 attended.
4b. Art on Parade - an on-loan sculpture program and competition attracted submission from around the country. NAHF purchased one sculpture for permanent public display and gifted to the City of Northglenn. Public tours provided for free. Large-scale sculpture commission iwth private and public partnership completed. Northglenn installed its first public mural. Approximately 75,342 attended.
4c. Free Outdoor Events - the Summer Concert and Movie Series, along with the Teddy Bear Picnic played to approximately 5,125 people in E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park.
