Providing a community of support for struggling readers and their families through one-on-one tutoring, formal evaluations, advocacy, and parent education.
We met with clients one-on-one to provide intervention and provided formal evaluations and advocacy services. Our Parent Resource Group met once a month to provide support and education for parents of children with learning differences. We also wrote articles about education and dyslexia for our local paper and hosted informative events about dyslexia for our community in October, which is dyslexia awareness month.
