The Cornerstone Foundation is dedicated to providing quality orthopedic care to the underprivileged Locally and abroad. We sent a team to a hospital in Iganga, Uganda delivering 1100 pounds of medical supplies ranging from casting materials to surgical tools. We provided daily training for local medical staff and trained the local doctors and nurses in current orthopedic practices. Our team performed two surgeries in a new hospital with the local doctors, providing an experiential learning opportunity.
