Organizations Filed Purposes: To inspire a more compassionate, trauma-informed foster care experience and eliminate the pipeline from foster care to homelessness.

Cobbled Streets will use the power of film and foster youth engagement to create awareness, challenge injustice and provide enriching opportunities.

Reached out to dozens of agencies and individuals serving the foster care and homeless population to discover unmet needs. Connected with former foster youth to learn what would have made an important difference to them while in foster care. These findings will guide our other work and provide content for a documentary film on the foster care system which will launch in 21. Provided hot meals and bags of necessities, along with treats, to 60 homeless youth for Thanksgiving and provided Holiday gifts of warm clothing to 60 youth.

Supported youth emancipating from the foster care system wanting to pursue higher education. Identified needs and participants by forming partnerships with other npos and schools. Provided Chrome Books to 25 youth. 2021 will see a continued effort to identify foster kids who are seeking a way to a more productive life and assist them in obtaining the tools to get there.

Retaining foster families is one of the most powerful ways to heal traumatized foster children. Foster homes provide healthy relationships and stability critical to a childs ability to thrive. Extracurricular activities helps improve student attendance, behavior, and course completion. In 2020 Cobbled Streets formed an alliance with Camp Experience and their network of 250 volunteer women to establish resources for such activities. Also created partnerships with a number of other organizations and individuals who will provide foster youth with music lessions, trauma informed yoga, photography and art classes, equine therapy, hiking, camping an rafting trips, leadership training and athletic/sports activities. This groundwork will be used to build and implement a program to served youth and their foster families in 2021.
