Camp Elim conducts camping programs for religious instruction, outdoor education, character development and strengthening of the family as described in the Holy Scriptures. Utilizing energetic and creative volunteer staff, we provide a caring environment for children, youth, adults and families. Our programs are open to schools, churches and other non-profit organizations.
Our camping programs served 3,115 individuals operating 4,853 camper room and board days. This number was down significantly from previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For instance, in 2019 we served 5,770 individuals operating 14,158 camper room and board days. Over 200 individuals volunteered to serve these campers. These staff members participated in programs of character-building and spiritual formation in the process of serving, learning valuable work and leadership skills. Guests included individuals, many of whom are under-privileged from school groups, church groups, and other civic groups such as Girl Scouts. Guests are offered spiritual instruction, Bible teaching, outdoor education and character building exercises.
