SOCCER - PRESCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN, RECREATIONAL LEAGUES, TRAVEL, ADULT LEAGUES, CAMPS AND CLINICSPROVIDED OVER 2,200 REGISTRANTS WITH INSTRUCTION, TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCCER. WAA PROVIDES EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, UNIFORMS, COACHING AND TRAINERS, REFEREES, INSURANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR SOCCER PROGRAMS FOR AGES 18 MONTHS THROUGH 80 YEARS. THE RENOVATED WAA SPORTS CENTER AT 2323 LIBERTY STREET IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY WAA. ALL INDOOR SOCCER PROGRAMMING, TRAINING AND LEAGUES ARE HELD IN THE FACILITY, IN ADDITION TO MANY OTHER EVENTS AND PROGRAMS. THE TURF AT THE FACILITY IS STATE OF THE ART TURF WITH SAND INFILL, WHICH IS CLEANER AND SAFER FOR ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS. TO HELP FACILITATE SCHEDULING AND HELP WITH IMPROVEMENT PLANS, WAA STAFF WORKS CLOSELY WITH LOCAL CHURCH, PARK DISTRICT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION. DUE TO LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT PROGRAM CUTS, SINCE 2012, WAA HAS RUN AND ADMINISTERED THE INDIAN PRAIRIE SCHOOL DISTRICT #204 MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCCER PROGRAM; PROVIDING COACHES, UNIFORMS, OFFICIALS, FIELD MAINTENANCE AND ALL ADMINISTRATION. WAA OFFERED CLINICS AND TRAINING TO INCREASE COACH AND REFEREE KNOWLEDGE. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO IMPROVE ITS PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES, 18 MONTHS THROUGH ADULT, AS WELL AS SUMMER CAMP AND ADVANCED TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.
BASKETBALL - RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUES, TRAINING AND CAMPS, TRAVEL BASKETBALL AND ADVANCED TRAINING AND CAMPSPROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 2,750 CHILDREN WITH INSTRUCTION, TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN BASKETBALL. WAA'S BASKETBALL PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO BE THE BEST IN THE AREA. WAA PROVIDES EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, COACHING AND TRAINERS, REFEREES, UNIFORMS, AWARDS, INSURANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR ALL BASKETBALL PROGRAMS. THE RENOVATED WAA SPORTS CENTER AT 2323 LIBERTY IS A KEY FACILITY FOR BASKETBALL TRAINING, CONDITIONING AND PRACTICE. TO HELP FACILITATE SCHEDULING AND HELP WITH IMPROVEMENT PLANS, WAA STAFF WORKS CLOSELY WITH LOCAL CHURCH, PARK DISTRICT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION. WAA CONTINUES TO OFFER FREE COACHING CLINICS AND FACILITATE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR OFFICIALS. WAA CONTINUES TO IMPROVE SUMMER PROGRAMMING AND LEAGUES AND GIRLS' BASKETBALL PROGRAMMING TO INCLUDE MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMPETITIVE PLAYERS.
BASEBALL - RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE LEAGUES, TRAINING AND CAMPS, TRAVEL BASEBALL AND ADVANCED TRAINING, CAMPS AND CLINICS.PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 1,500 REGISTRANTS WITH INSTRUCTION, TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN BASEBALL. WAA PROVIDES EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, COACHES AND TRAINERS, UMPIRES, UNIFORMS, AWARDS, INSURANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR ALL BASEBALL PROGRAMS. WAA CONTINUES TO IMPROVE THE RECREATIONAL BASEBALL PROGRAM BY OFFERING COACH INSTRUCTION, TRAINING AND REFUNDS. WAA OWNS, MANAGES AND RUNS THE WAA SPORTS CENTER AT 2323 LIBERTY IN AURORA, IL. THE FACILITY IS UTILIZED FOR ADDITIONAL SPEED AND AGILITY TRAINING, INFIELD TRAINING, TRYOUTS FOR COMPETITIVE TEAMS AND PARTICIPANT USAGE IN THE FACILITY. TO HELP FACILITATE SCHEDULING AND HELP WITH IMPROVEMENT PLANS, WAA STAFF WORKS CLOSELY WITH LOCAL CHURCH, PARK DISTRICT AND SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION. WAA CONTINUES TO OPERATE AN INDOOR TRAINING CENTER FOR WAA BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PROGRAMS. THE FACILITY PROVIDES A DEDICATED ENVIRONMENT FOR POSITIVE INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING AT LITTLE OR NO COST FOR WAA PARTICIPANTS.
