EACH FORUM MET ON A MONTHLY BASIS, AND THE LEADS GROUPS MET ON A WEEKLY BASIS.IN RELATION TO THE CHAMBER'S BUSINESS PROMOTION OBJECTIVES, THE CHAMBERS ONLINE BUSINESS DIRECTORY AVERAGED OVER 2,000 HITS PER MONTH, PUBLISHED AND DISTRIBUTED A MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY TO 13,000 LOCAL ADDRESSES, PARTICIPATED IN ONEBUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS EXPOSITION AND CONDUCTED TEN RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONIES FOR NEW BUSINESSES. WE PROVIDED 52 WEEKLY DIGEST NEWSLETTERS AND PUBLISHED INFORAMTION IN NEIGHBORS MAGAZINES AND THE KANE COUNTY CHRONICLES INCLUDING 83 PRESS RELEASES TO KEEP THE COMMUNITY INFORMED.IN RELATION TO THE CHAMBER'S CIVIC OBJECTIVES, THE CHAMBER HELD AN ANNUAL CITIZEN OF THE YEAR CEREMONY, GATHERED OVER $2,000 IN GIFTS TO THE LOCAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE, PROMOTED OVER 150 COMMUNITY EVENTS THROUGH AN ONLINE COMMUNITY CALENDAR, AND DISTRIBUTED ONLINE FLYERS TO MEMBER BUSINESSES FOR OVER 28 NON-PROFIT EVENTS. THE CHAMBER HONORED A CHAMBER MEMBER FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY AT AN ANNUAL HARVEST CELEBRATION. THE CHAMBER PARTNERED WITH BATAVIA MAINSTREET TO PROMOTE CARRYOUT DINING INFORMATION TO PROMOTE DINING IN THE COMMUNITY AND A RETAIL GUIDE TO PROMOTE OUT MERCHANTS.OTHER ACTIVITIES THE CHAMBER WAS INVOLVED IN CONSISTED OF RESPONDING TO BUSINESS AND FAMILIES CONSIDERING MOVING TO THE AREA, RESPONDING TO OTHER INFORMATION REQUESTS, LOCAL BUSINESS REFERRALS, AND SUPPORTING THE CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS. THE CHAMBER ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS AND CO-HOSTED THREE CANDIDATE FORUMS.
