The mission of the Compassionate Ministries Center of Hope is to reach out in Christs love by assisting individuals/families who are facing difficult situations.
Operation of a client choice food pantry where individuals who meet the IDHS income guidelines can, once a week, choose items from the stock food shelves. During the year the food pantry served 26,527 households and 80,473 individuals. The amount shown for grants and allocations represents the cost and donated value of the food and household goods distributed during the year. The Center continued to operate during the COVID-19 crisis but distributed pre-packaged food to the clients.
