The Greater Foundation is geared towards improving the professional development of Chicago area youth and young adults through sporting activities such as Boxing & Chess. Greater Foundation programs intertwine health, physical fitness via boxing as well critical thinking.
The Greater Foundations Chess program is IVY league based on mathematical components and pro-active learning with instruction provided by some of countrys leading instructors. The Greater Foundations boxing programs teach individual self-confidence as well as cardio-physical fitness in a conducive team work based atmosphere. Students learn basic skills, core conditioning, eye-and-hand coordination, foot work drills and self-esteem building techniques.
