Organizations Filed Purposes: The purpose of the Beijing Center is to offer undergraduates and other students a comprehensive educational experience about China and its culture through classroom lectures, courses, on site visits, and immersion experiences.

The Beijing Centers undergraduate programs include a mix of language training, extensive content courses, immersion experience with Chinese language instruction, and approximately 75 courses. Non-classroom activities offer students the opportunity to experience the culture and people of China.

Several times a year, the China Contact program for faculty members, university administrators and graduate students is offered in a customized format through a combination of lectures and site visits.

The Global Leadership Internship, also known as the Summer Internship, is intended for students to obtain in-depth knowledge of working in China and of Chinese people by providing an opportunity to learn from the real Chinese world through working and interacting with the people and organizations. The purpose of the program is not only to gain working experience but, more importantly, to encourage students to think about China in a deeper and more meaningful way outside the classroom.
