Blue Sky provides paid, supportive transitional employment to homeless and at-risk youth in Chicago. Youth also receive individual case management to assist with budgeting, time-management, conflict resolution, issues related to housing and physical and mental health, and long term employment preparation.
Blue Sky Bakery provides paid, supportive transitional employment to homeless and at-risk youth in Chicago. We also provide individual case management and job placement assistance.
In 2020, we were able to continue to operate our transitional jobs program for homeless and at-risk youth. We employed a total of six youth each for twelve weeks. We assisted each youth in securing long-term employment when they successfully completed our intensive program.
