Organizations Filed Purposes: The objectives of Chicago Chapter NSDAR are promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

In spite of COVID-19 restrictions, we accomplished our mission in the following community service efforts: purchase and donation of clothing for the veterans clothing room at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and financial support of food needs of their vets, a Newberry Library Teacher Fellowship for a Chicago high school teacher to develop digital collection materials and lesson plans on a topic related to American womens history, support of the State Regents project to restore Susan Lawrence Dana House in Springfield IL, purchase of a commemorative bench to be installed in a Chicago city park, photographically recording of gravestones at local cemeteries and monthly genealogy workshops.
