SERVICES INCLUDE CONSULTATION AND PSYCHOTHERAPY TO ADULT INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES SEEKING HELP FOR DIFFICULTIES WITH ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS, AND A WIDE VARIETY OF OTHER CONCERNS.2. CHILD GRIEF SERVICES PROVIDE THERAPEUTIC SERVICES TO BEREAVED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES; MAKE INTERVENTION MORE ACCESSIBLE; HEIGHTEN AWARENESS OF THE POTENTIALLY HARMFUL SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM EFFECTS OF LOSS; AND PROVIDE TRAINING AND CUNSULTATION FOR TEACHERS, CLERGY, MENTAL HEALTH WORKERS, AND OTHER INVOLVED COMMUNITY MEMBERS.3. CHILD AND ADOLESCENT CLINICAL SERVICES OFFER A RANGE OF SERVICES TO HELP CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHEN SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS THAT HINDER EMOTIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS:1. THE PSYCHOANALYTIC EDUCATION PROGRAM IS A MULTIFACETED COURSE OF STUDY INTENDED TO EXPAND AND REFINE THE CAPACITY OF MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO UNDERSTAND AND WORK WITH PATIENTS IN DEPTH.2. THE ADULT PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING PROGRAM'S EDUCATIONAL GOALS ARE TO APPLY PSYCHODYNAMIC PRINCIPLES TO CLARIFY CLINICAL PROBLEMS, DEFINE THERAPEUTIC GOALS AND GUIDE INTERVENTIONS IN THE CLINICIAN'S PRACTICE OF PSYCHOTHERAPY.3. THE CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHOTHERAPY PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL GOALS ARE TO WORK TO RESTORE A CHILD'S RELATIONSHIPS, FUNCTIONING IN THE WORLD AND A HEALTHY SENSE OF UNDERSTANDING OF THEMSELVES.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS, LECTURES AND CONFERENCES ARE OFFERED TO FURTHER THE KNOWLEDGE OF PSYCHOANALYTIC AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH TOPICS FOR MENTAL HEALTH PRACTIONERS AND THE PUBLIC.
