Assist low-income residents of Affordable Housing by providing a variety of services aimed at improving their quality of life.
Generations housing initiatives (GHI) assists residents of public housing and other affordable housing programs with a variety of services aimed at improving the quality of their lives. GHI provides programing separately targeted to low-income senior citizens and to low-income families. Low-income senior citizens are defined as individuals at least 55 years in age having a household income not exceeding 80% of area median income. All programs and services are provided without expense to the individuals and families involved. GHI works with affordable housing owners, operators and developers to create strategies to preserve and build new affordable housing.
