Heartland Housing is a community housing development organization which facilitates the development of people through the preservation and creation of affordable and supportive housing with the priority of meeting the needs of homeless persons (Continued on Schedule O)

Heartland Housing, Inc. was created as a non-profit 501(c)(3) affordable housing development in 1989. Currently, Heartland owns and manages 1,213 affordable housing units in the City of Chicago, Madison, Wisconsin, and parts of Milwaukee. Heartland also manages 219 units in two buildings owned by a private party. The projects cater to various types of participants such as low income, homeless, and seniors. In addition, some of the projects provide supportive services to our residents to help them overcome barriers to housing stability and achieve greater economic independence as well as assist them in (Contined on Schedule O)
