The organizations mission is to empower the Korean American community through education, social service, organizing/advocacy and culture.
Social ServicesKorean American Resource and Cultural Center KRCC assists community members gaining U.S. citizenship, visa renewal, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival status. KRCC coordinates outreach, holds workshops, and provide services to individual members by appointment and walk-ins. KRCC also supports community members by providing translation, advocacy, and interpretation at immigration services and courts. KRCC also holds workshops on citizenship test and mock interviews. Additionally, KRCC develops and provides education on how American government works and the role of its citizens. Furthermore, KRCC supports community members by providing education on how to vote, when to vote, where to vote, and by providing translation, transportation, and needed assistance on election days. KRCC works in collaboration with organizations such as Korean American Human Service Coalition, Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and Asian American and Arab American Collaboration on Deferred Action.
