THE PURPOSE OF THIS TRUST IS TO PROVIDE SICKNESS, ACCIDENT, LIFE, DISABILITY & OTHER WELFARE BENEFITS FOR THOSE EMPLOYEES OF THE UNIVERSITY AND THEIR ELIGIBLE DEPENDENTS COVERED BY THE PLANS.
The University has created this 501(c)(9) tax-exempt trust of a voluntary employees beneficiary association (VEBA). The fundamental purpose of the association is to provide disability insurance benefits to those present, separated and retired employees of the University who are eligible to participate in the plan.
