Organizations Filed Purposes:
Provide music education and cultural opportunities to the community, including opportunities for individuals to attend and participate in performances, and to cultivate the innate musical ability within each individual.
The Organization accomplishes its mission through vocal, choral, instrumental and early childhood music programming. The Organization welcomes all people all ages and all abilities to experience the life-changing power of music. The Encore Youth Choir and McHenry County Youth Orchestra provide exceptional music education and performance opportunities for children and youth from all over McHenry County. Voices In Harmony, an adult community choir, provides inspiration, beauty and community in song.
The Organization provides programming to students regardless of their ability to pay. The Organization is proud to report that 12,184 in music program scholarships were provided for 27 program participants during the June 30, 2020 fiscal year.
The Organization provides opportunities for participants to perform for a live audience in various concert and theatrical productions held regularly throughout the year.
