THE PROGRAM ASSISTS INCUMBENT WORKERS BY FUNDING TRAINING PROGRAMS AND ASSISTANCE WITH SEEKING EMPLOYMENT AND PROVIDES FUNDS TO ELIGIBLE BUSINESSES TO PROVIDE NEW HIRE ON THE JOB TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR FORMERLY DISLOCATED WORKERS.
PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER- FUNDED THOROUGH THE ILLINOIS DCEO. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES MARKETING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO BUSINESS FIRMS IN SELLING THEIR GOODS AND SERVICES TO FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
