Organizations Filed Purposes:
To equip people for works of service.
Our focus is on youth development in our community. 1. Our Generation-2- Generation program links 500 students, all kindergarten and 3rd graders in the district to establish relationships to residents of Senior Living Facilities. 2. Our Farm-2-Table served 225 students, all 1st graders in the district--as they engage in experimental activities where they become more aware of the source of all foods that they eat. 3. Our School-2-Farm program served all 220 second graders in the district. Students harvest in the fall and plant in the spring in our 1.5 acre community garden. 4. Our Talents-2-Strengths program assists 4th graders in discovering their individual talents increasing awareness and appreciation of themselves as well as others.5. Our Learn-2-Serve program will focus on 5th graders with the goal of guiding students to understand and appreciate the value of serving in their community. 6. Our Learn-2-Grow program works with approximately 100 Summer Camp students at the YMCA and 50 youth that reside in under resourced areas.
