Organizations Filed Purposes:
Service to the needs of the organizations members and the programs and services to members including but not limited to educational classes & seminars, regular membership meetings, local & state governmental affairs, public relations and public affairs
Held special events for the financial planning industry and members to learn about financial planning issues and to network together, including a focus on next generation planners and students interested in the financial planning industry. Also, annually hold two public awareness events in which members volunteer to provide financial education to the public. We partner with the Federal Reserve of Chicago for a program entitled Money Smart Week.The other event is a Financial Planning Week every October.
Held two meetings covering informational topics that members need to keep current on and use in providing financial planning services to the public. Members earn educational credits as required by the CFP board of standards.The Fall Conference( Conference For Advanced Planning)- a total of 16 CFP CE were available.
