Organizations Filed Purposes: EASTER SEALS PROVIDES EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS AND DISABILITIES CAN REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. DIRECT PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE THERAPY SERVICES, CLINICAL SERVICES, FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES, DIAGNOSTIC AND EVALUATION SERVICES, WARM WATER POOL PROGRAMS, SERVICE COORDINATION, PRIVATE SCHOOL, RESIDENTIAL CAMPING AND OUTDOOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE ALSO PROVIDED WHICH INFORM THE COMMUNITY ABOUT HEALTH SERVICES AND THEIR AVAILABILITY.

EASTER SEALS CENTRAL ILLINOIS IS AN ACCREDITED OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION CENTER WHICH PROVIDES AN ARRAY OF PEDIATRIC THERAPY INCLUDING OCCUPATIONAL, PHYSICAL, SPEECH/LANGUAGE, AND BEHAVIORAL SERVICES, AS WELL AS FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND DELAYS. APPROXIMATELY 30,000 HOURS OF THERAPY WERE PROVIDED TO 5,800 CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF BIRTH AND TWENTY-ONE. ADDITIONAL AUTISM EDUCATION AND RESOURCES WERE PROVIDED TO 1,200 INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL ILLINOIS REGION.

CHILD AND FAMILY CONNECTIONS OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS - CHILD AND FAMILY CONNECTIONS (CFC) #14 LOCATED IN WEST PEORIA AND #16 IN CHAMPAIGN ARE THE REGIONAL INTAKE OFFICES FOR THE ILLINOIS EARLY INTERVENTION SYSTEM SERVING CHILDREN AGED BIRTH TO THREE YEARS SUSPECTED OF A DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY OR DISABILITY AND THEIR FAMILIES. EASTER SEALS BEGAN MANAGEMENT OF THESE CFC OFFICES ON JULY 1, 2013. THE OFFICES PROVIDE SERVICE COORDINATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGHOUT ELEVEN CENTRAL ILLINOIS COUNTIES. EARLY INTERVENTION CREDENTIALED SERVICE COORDINATORS WORK WITH FAMILIES TO DEVELOP AN INDIVIDUALIZED FAMILY SERVICE PLAN AND HELP SELECT SERVICE PROVIDERS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILD. THE TWO OFFICES TOGETHER SERVE MORE THAN 1,750 FAMILIES AT ANY GIVEN TIME DURING THE YEAR WITH OVER 2,950 NEW REFERRALS AND 2,840 CASE CLOSURES PER YEAR.

CAMPING AND RECREATION - TIMBER POINTE OUTDOOR CENTER IS THE PREMIER RESOURCE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS PROVIDING SPECIALIZED, INCLUSIVE, AND INTEGRATED RESIDENTIAL, DAY CAMP AND WEEKEND RESPITE PROGRAMMING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES. TIMBER POINTE OUTDOOR CENTER PROVIDES A SAFE, ACCESSIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR FAMILIES. OVER 1,200 CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS FROM ALL OVER ILLINOIS AND THE SURROUNDING STATES ATTENDED CAMP. AN ADDITIONAL 1,700 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN CONFERENCES, RECEPTIONS, RETREATS, AND TEAM CHALLENGE EXPERIENCES HELD AT TIMBER POINTE OUTDOOR CENTER.
